AIR


 


                      Air is the element of freedom and spaciousness. Air is light and
                      and expanding. It represents words and thoughts. Direction is
                      East. Used in spells of divination and finding lost items and
                      travel. Best time is before dawn.
 


Fire
 

  Fire is passion and desire. It represents intelligence and courage.

                      The direction is South.

Water
 
 

Tears, water flowing from our eyes are the outward expression of

                      Strong emotional feelings. The direction is West.

Earth


 


                      It is the home and the mother. Represents sensations and security.
                      The direction is East.
 
 

HERBS AND THE ELEMENTS


 


                   Air-dreams-place the appropriate herb under your pillow
                    and ask for a revealing dream.

                   Fire-burn the herbs and pronounce your wish and hold it
                    in your mind while the fire burns.

                   Water-Bathe and put the herbs in the bath, visualize your
                    wish  coming true.

                   Earth-Nature-take the appropriate herb make it into a tea
                    (make sure it is a safe herb to drink!!) sit under a tree
                    while concentrating on your wish.
 


 


STONES AND THE ELEMENTS


                                 Air-Spells-Write the spells on parchment paper and put it away
                           with your stone.

                          Fire-Candle-Lay the stone near the candle and leave it there
                          while the candle burns out.

                          Water-Well-Rinse yourself with the well water in which the
                          stone has been sitting for 3 hours while visualizing your wish.

                          Earth-Keeping-Keep the stone on your body in a pouch until your
                          will be fulfilled.
