(from
the book by patricia telesco)

Banishing bugs

Use 4oz. of each
herb (any combination of herbs that total 4 oz. steeped in 8oz. water,
the stronger the aroma the better. Keep stored in fridge if you don't use
all, if it turns cloudy discard it! Prepare during waning moon, banishing
properties , stir mixture clockwise and say:
Bugs be gone,
only helpful ones stay
By my will go
away
Sprinkle over
your garden again moving clockwise, repeat this process if it rains, or
if you notice the aroma diminishing!
