When I was a child I would use this kind of magick.  Take a chain or string, tie
                   anything that will swing easily to the string. (button, jewelry) Then hold it
                   over your open hand. Using it this way you can get yes and no answers to
                    your questions. Specify first, the way the pendlum swings for yes or no answers
                    by telling the pendulum back and forth for no, around in a circle for yes.
 

                   Now if you want to take this a bit further, make yourself a message board, no
                    not an Ouija board. Write the letters of the alphabet on a piece of paper, any
                    kind will do. Then ask your question and hold the pendulum over each letter
                    until it swings in a circle over each letter of your answer. This may take a
                    litte time but you will get your answers !
 
 

                   Always remember that NOT always will you receive a correct answer ! Don't
                    ask questions about dying or diasters either. Usually the beings that you are
                    speaking to like to play jokes on you so be aware and don't take everything
                    they say seriously.
 
 

                       Also when using the pendulum, keep track of who you talk to. Ask for a name
                   ask if it is a good, or bad entity that you are speaking to!  Write you both
                   your questions and your answers down, that way you know who to talk to
                   the next time around !
