Consecration Ritual

                   Whenever you have a new Wiccan tool, you will need to
                        consecrate it. This ritual is simple and easy to do. You need to Do
                        this ritual during the waxing moon, cast your circle in your usual
                        manner. Place the item in the center of your circle and sit in
                        front of it facing north. Enter a meditative state with the
                        purpose of the ritual firmly in your mind. Visualize a beam of white
                        light shining down from the heavens, and a beam of light from the
                        top of your head meeting as a ball of light about six feet above
                        the item.
 

                        Pick up the item and take it to the north quarter and say:

                      Then pass the item 3 times over the salt dish.

                      Pick up the item and take it to the East quarter and say:
 
 

                        Then pass the item 3 times over your incense smoke.
 

                        Pick up the item and take it to the South quarter and say:

                       Then pass the item 3 times over the candle flame.
 

                        Pick up the item and take it to the West quarter and say:
 

                        Then pass the item 3 times over the water container.
 
 

                        Return to your sitting position in the center of the circle, say:
 
 

                      Then gently blow across the item 3 times.
 
 

                       Place the book on the floor and return to visualizing the ball
                       of light until it is absorbed into the book, then say:
